Pastel Brunch – At Home

I’ve told you so many times already, but I simply LOVE to brunch. It’s my favorite meal of the day and if I could brunch 3 times a day, I would. Honnestly, it’s the best. And what makes me the most happy is when I get to wake up on a saturday or sunday morning, and get ready for breakfast. I have the chance to live in a neighborhood where there are many specialized shops and fine grocery stores near my home. Therefore, I love to go buy great cheese, deli, bread and pastries. I must say I really treated…

Les Grands Ballets Canadiens: KAGUYAHIME

Tonight is the Premiere of the new KAGUYAHIME show by Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal, and I truly cannot wait to see this magnificient spectacle! A few months ago, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens organised an event in their studios for a few bloggers to meet with the dancers. It was truly amazing to finally meet them and realize that these great athletes are indeed just humans like us. What we see on stage is also so impressive that we tend to forget the dancers are, in the end, normal human beings. The way they move, the way they express…

Why So Serious? #2

It’s time for me to show you a new WHY SO SERIOUS series of images. If you’ve been following the blog in the past few months, you’ll be able to recognize from which photoshoot the photos all come from. If you want to see the original outfits, I invite you to click directly on the images – you’ll be redirect to each article 😉 As you can see it haven’t gone better than the last “Why So Serious” article… actually, should I say, worst.  Even if the light is good, the outfit on point and the locations proper, the faces…

Corne d’Or – Festival de Films Turcs à Montréal

Photo by: Elise Sarah Apap Finkelstein HERKESE MERHABA! You’re probably gonna be discourage by the fact that I’m about to tell you yet about ANOTHER FESTIVAL… but since I live in Montréal, festivals are now part of my life routine. This time, I’ll tell you more about the CORNE D’OR Festival, the Turkish Films Festival in Montréal. If you enjoy watching movies, discovering new languages and meeting fun people, this might be the festival for you. It’s quite underground as the Turkish community in Montréal is not very big, but to discover a new culture and different artistic visions is…

Le Brunch au Sofitel

There’s a real thing about brunch… I love to brunch and so does everybody! Am I right? Brunches are for me, every Sunday, with friends and family, and they usually are one of a kind big and opulent meal! I love it! I love it! I love it!I literally dream about brunching. I think about what I’m gonna eat and I cannot wait to enjoy the tasty Sunday meal. I love it so much it’s basically on my mind the entire week, until the next Sunday. I think about brunch everyday! And this might be excessive, but honestly, who doesn’t like to…

Birthday Cake

To bake a cake can sound quite easy. But let me just say that the art of pastry is not as simple as it looks and definitely ain’t as easy as it seems. I’ve learned all about it the real and only way: in a real pasty kitchen, with the best cooks I could have ever dreamed to assist! As you’ve read here, I celebrated my birthday with the Sofitel Hotel team. A birthday may be celebrated, but the 21st one should be done with even more greatness than all the others. For the occasion, I was invited to cook…

Why So Serious? #1

Tomorrow I will be turning 21 years old. Twenty-one years of being silly, twenty-one years of laughter and funny moments. Since I have always been a crazy person, I thought it would be the best time to start a new series of articles, which will be published once or twice every month. It’s called WHY SO SERIOUS?.Inspired by the famous blogger EBBA ZINGMARK and her once-in-a-while published articles called “The Unflattering Truth“, I decided to start myself a series of failed and bad pictures of myself. Why? Simply because I want you all to see and understand the reality behind a…

Le Renard & La Chouette – Québec City

Like I’ve told you here, I recently did a little road trip to Québec City, in order to meet and work with one of my best friends, Pascal Audet. In order to make me discover his neighborhood, Pascal brought me to this very cute coffee shop called “Le Renard & La Chouette”. The place, based on a little story of friendship between two different beings, felt like the perfect place for us to go to savor a warm latte, being two great friends ourselves. The fun part about the story of the Fox and the Owl is the fact that these…

NEW Fall Cocktails at the WUNDERBAR

Montréal may be recognized and a little famous for all of its terraces in the Summer, but what happens when the heat goes down as Fall and Winter arrive? Please do believe that Montrealers continue partying and enjoying some good drinks, simply inside instead of outdoors. This being said, as the fancy extravagant persons we are, we always try to find the most outstanding places or unique ones to go out. The most original little spots where to find the most unbelievable stories to tell, or them crazy settings to have ourselves flabbergasted. Yep, Montrealers may be renown as chillax people, but…

Night at the Opera: NABUCCO

Being a lover of beauty and art, I was truly excited when I was invited for a night at the Opera, for the NABUCCO show. Last time I went to the Opera, I was about 8 years old and I cannot say I understood much of what I saw. However, being a musician myself, with many scene performances, and also being a fan of musicals, I was very thrilled to have a second go at the Opera and attend the general practice of the NABUCCO troop and the orchestra. What is very interesting about operas is the fact that the adaptation of each…
