GENRE DENIS: Spring/Summer 2016

When it comes to creating a product that easily and naturally combines originality and  usefulness, I shall say Montréal always wins regarding craftsmanship. Once again, I’ve been impressed by something created HERE and I fell in love. Once again, I am proud to say that fashion and style in Montréal is something undeniable and very well understood by the local industry. What I find interesting is to see how Montreal entrepreneurs always succeed to harmonize STYLE and PRACTICALITY. And GENRE DENIS is doing this very well. Montrealers are always on the go, weather they bike around the city or go to places by…

If you don’t already know LES ENFANTS SAUVAGES, here are a few reasons why you should! You’ll LOVE them, I’m certain of it! – First of all, the brand’s name is AMAZING (it means “Savage Kids” in French)! – The clothes designed and made in Montréal. – The fabrics are always very textured, original and of great quality. – LES ENFANTS SAUVAGES are not afraid of colors and paterns (finally a brand who dares to go bold!) – The clothes are crazy comfortable! Collaboration with TEA SPOON – Québec City

As I am progressively going back to a regular blogging schedule, I am still working on new stories for you guys. However, searching through my old files, I found this series of images that I had totally forgotten to show you before! Do you remember my collaboration with TEA SPOON and Pascal Audet? Back in Québec city, we collaborated with the brand in order to showcase some streetstyles that, if I recall properly, I described as “really out of my style boudaries”.TEA SPOON is a brand from Québec city, much more “street” and sporty than what I usually go for,…

The Red Backpackers

I’ve already told you about my collaboration with the brand TEA SPOON and Pascal Audet, HERE, doing some streetstyle images in outfits that made me go out of my usual style boundaries. This time, I’m presenting you pictures that are very special to me. What makes them so special is the fact this was actually the FIRST TIME I took pictures with one of my photographer collaborator! Can you believe it? And when I say pictures, I don’t mean images taken of us at an event together… I mean editorial pictures. Both dressed by TEA SPOON, we decided to represent the brand…

TEA SPOON Streetstyle – Québec City

As I’ve been running all around I haven’t had much time to write on the blog. However, I do have in stock many Christmas articles that will soon be up online! In the mean time, I would like to show you one of the outfits from the amazing photoshoot I did with Pascal Audet in Québec city. Once again, I was very happy to be working with him as he is quite good to capture emotions and vibes…. something very important when you want to showcase fashion in a more complex and complete way. This photoshoot was sponsored by TEA…

Healthy Beauty: LISA NOTO MAKEUP

As Winter is slowly coming towards us, I thought it would be a great idea to present to you a series of articles based on some of my favorite Healthy Beauty Products. I found Winter to be the perfect season for these articles since the cold weather really affects me, and I’m sure I’m not the only one. My skin, my hair, my lips (basically my entire self) gets dry and cold, and as everything slowly turns out grey and dull outside, I still want my face and body to look healthy and colorful! So here is my first Healthy…

Falling Into the Rabbit Hole

Alice in Wonderland is one of my favorite childhood story as it happens to be so enchanted, quirky, crazy and groundbreaking in it’s fantasy. When FRIPE FABRIQUE asked me to model for their Summer lookbook I was very pleased to know that the main theme would reflects some visuals from Alice In Wonderland. It was acutally super fun to be more of an actor than a model in this photoshoot, in order to look very girly and “lost” in the gloomy woods, juste like Alice. It seems that even the looks that the FF team had in mind were also Wonderland related….

1 Year Old Throwback Thursday – FMD Streetstyle

Going through the files of my numerous usb keys (about the 20 of them… yes I should really get myself an external hard-drive instead), I realized that one special article with one very special outfit hadn’t been published, and so, for an entire year! Being Thursday and myself being a great fan of “throwback Thursdays”, I decided that it was now the perfect opportunity to present to you one outfit that was created and captured about one year ago. Recently, I have been telling you about the Fashion & Design Festival and you might have seen my few articles regarding…

FMD COLLECTIONS 2014

This year, Montréal’s Fashion & Design Festival had, among all the usual outdoor runway shows, one special event which was called FMD COLLECTIONS. This event was a compensation for the not-so-happening-Montréal-Fashion-Week and presented six designers from Montréal, happily selected by the beloved fashion blogger Garance Doré. It was also a chance for the media and people from the industry to meet once more, in a beautiful event we all honestly thought would never happen again. This event was quite fun, offering us one last vibe of what used to be. As for the collections that were presented, I found the…
